Care & Maintenance

Maintenance Instructions

Your Alexapure Pro requires very little maintenance. We recommend the following care as needed.

Cleaning the Reservoirs

The outer surfaces of your stainless steel Alexapure Pro reservoirs are easy to clean with mild soap and hot water, or clean in a dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaning pads or harsh chemicals to clean the reservoirs.

Cleaning the Exterior of the Filter (Filter Only)

Mineral content in untreated water may cause buildup on the exterior of the Alexapure Pro filters. This buildup is normal and does not affect filtration performance. If needed, the exterior surface of the filters may be cleaned. Remove the filter from the top reservoir. Gently scrub the exterior surface with a scouring pad and clean water. Do not use soap or other cleaning agents. Rinse thoroughly and reinstall the filter.

Changing the Filters

Our revolutionary Alexapure Pro filters work hard to make your family's drinking water safer and cleaner. They're designed for extended use over several months. You should change your filter(s) when you notice a significant change in flow rate or you have exceeded 200 gallons per filter.
